Global Nomad is a store that is dedicated to bringing unique, hand-crafted home-decor products from around the world into a single, convenient boutique.

 

After living in Bali, Indonesia for over 17 years and traveling the world, Lucinda Chovick found herself with a love for unique, colorful design and an immense respect for the cultural traditions of local populations around the world. While living in Bali, Lucinda started a weaving business, using her background in textile design to create unique one of a kind pieces. Lucinda's work was featured in Architectural Digest and sold through out the world. After years of designing her own textiles, she returned to her home in San Francisco where she partnered with local and international designers to create Global Nomad. 

 

Global Nomad has various one-of-a-kind pieces that are as unique as the travels of the owner.  Our products are made by a wide range of people, and we are excited to be able feature items from across the world.  We are proud to sell fair-trade and locally made products as wells as support amazing programs such as Woven Promises and The Wounaan  Baskets Project.  If you are interested in learning more about these programs please visit our blog.
